Born in Darlington, SC, Sherry is the daughter of Lavern and Joanne Margaret Pope.  Sherry and her mother moved back to the Oak Forest area in 1968, and have been here since.  Joanne later married Frederick William Behrens, and along with his daughter Andromana they formed a new family.  Sherry and Mike have two nieces and a nephew (Allison, Kelsey and Joshua) from Sherry's side of the family.

Sherry graduated from Ridge Elementary School in Oak Forest, IL, Kerkstra Junior High in Oak Forest, IL, and Oak Forest High School in Oak Forest, IL.  Sherry received her BS in Finance from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, IN, and her MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL.

She is forgiven for any slight sin she has ever committed because she has to put up with Michael.  And let's admit it, our kids are cute, but we don't call them MacPhisto and Beelzebubette because they're always sweet and obedient.  So she gets credit for not only birthing them, but for putting up with the "Irish" in them, every single day.
