Josephine Margaret Mae Horan is quite the little lady.  Until big brother John pushes her too far, and then she can be downright vicious. 

Josie is a softball playing, dancing, swimming princess. 

She's a little girl with a big name, and some big shoes to fill.  She is named after quite a fine group of women, so we're sure she'll take all of their wonderful attributes and become as grand as her female ancestors were!  Josie is named after:

• Josephine Schaafsma - Sherry's maternal grandmother

• Margaret Mary Horan - Mike's paternal grandmother

• Mary Margaret Kaizer - Mike's maternal grandmother,  a.k.a. Mae

• Joanne Margaret Behrens - Sherry's Mom

• Edna Mae Horan - Mike's Mom

• Lila Mae Pope - Sherry's paternal grandmother

Josie is doing very well in 2nd Grade with  Mrs. Davis.  She's a great student, with more friends than most people have in their entire lives.  She definitely doesn't have any problem with giving her opinion, but she usually does it in a pleasant way.  When she's unpleasant she sounds quite a bit like Squidward from SpongeBob Squarepants.

She is in her fourth year of Dance with Miss Judy.  Josie is a well-rounded girl, she also swims for the Oak Forest Barracudas, plays for the Diamonds in softball, and is a cheerleader for Coach Melissa's Buccaneers squad.

Josie is as much a charmer as John, and she has impeccable manners.  Even when she's being reprimanded she says "thank you".  We call her the ambassador, because no matter where we are or what the situation, she's waving like a beauty pageant queen and giving her warmest "Hello".

She's still a bit young to predict what she'll be later in life, but an Ambassadorship (do they have an Ambassador to Thomas the Tank Engine's Island of Sodor?) would be perfect.
